Global search function

The global search function allows you to search for specific items or features on the whole Formalize platform.

Where to find the search function

You have two options to find the search function:

  1. Use the left-hand side menu of your account

  2. Hit ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) and the search function will appear

How to use the search function

Type the name of the item or the feature you are looking for. You can search for features and pages such as Questionnaires, Suppliers, User access. Also, you are able to search for specific records like the name of a supplier or a policy, a specific task, a customer ID, a LEI number, or even a risk.

You don't need to click through menus anymore to find the specific feature/record you are looking for.

The search function is keyboard friendly. Use ↑↓ or Tab to move, Enter to open, and ⌘-click to open in a new tab.

What you can find with the search function

You can search for names, ID and custom fields. Note that you can only see the pages and records you already have access to. If you are unsure of what you have access to, check your access in Settings > Users & Access.

Archived records are not included in the search feature.
